Canon EOS 6D MarkII, ISO100, f/5.6, 1/125s. 85mmI could not achieve this look without using light modifiers. I did try to do this without modifiers but it was not the same. It was more diffused light and I like the look with modifiers. Notice the round fill light which creates some shadow for the model. I adjusted colours after removing round bulbs in Photoshop. I opened it in Lightroom for basic corrections and then copied to Photoshop for more detailed work. The first photo is cropped and lightened, second is cropped and darkened, third is cropped and sharpened, fourth is only cropped and sharpened, fifth is cropped and lightened and sixth is cropped and darkened. I did not use mask in any of the steps. I think these photos are more dramatic than other one of mine. I have more of these images of this model in the same pose but with brighter light, so it would be difficult to get them in this look. I would like to do more shots like that. This model is a real hottie and I need to find more spontaneous moments like this. This particular background helps me get some soft framing. I took this photo at f/5.6. I could not get any softer look with this model and this background.
